I am a Sussex wedding and portrait photographer located perfectly to cover Sussex, Kent, Surrey and most areas of the South East of England.
My style as a wedding photographer is candid, natural documentary. I feel these words best describe my approach to shooting weddings. Your wedding day is as special to me as it is to you. Think of me as your bonus bridesmaid with a camera!
By using a relaxed (but still professional) approach I am able to photograph weddings from the 'inside out' getting a 'guests eye view' of your wedding day. The result will be that you get a real feel for your day when looking back through your wedding photographs, including all the small details as well as all the big stuff.
Documentary and Formal - Who says you can't have both?
As much as I tend to take the informal, reportage style photos, so that you can see the moments you might have missed on the day itself, I also know the importance of getting those shots of everyone together. They can be the hardest to pull off, trying to get everyone in the same place at the same time but when you meet me you will get a sense of how I manage that – a friendly nudge and an intricately organised plan of attack and those shots you think will take forever, are over before you know it.
I also love to spend time with the bride and groom to stage a few photographs around the venue or a location close by. But I will not turn your wedding into one big photo shoot! My ultimate aim as a wedding photographer is to provide you with the most perfect wedding photographs.

To trust me with your day – you should know a bit about me. My name is Madeleine and I have been a professional wedding and portrait photographer for the last thirteen years. I am happily married with three beautiful children; they are often my subjects and you will see pictures of them in my gallery. My love for them inspires every shoot I do, I know the way you love your family and I know how to capture that on film, so those moments in time are frozen forever, but never static.
I have shot hundreds of weddings around Sussex, Kent, Surrey and the South East of England, each one unique, each one with a different story to tell. I immerse myself in your lives just long enough to get a picture of what your love story is about and how it should be documented. I am discreet, but I’m also present for every moment, every look and every detail, from the mother of the bride fixing her daughters hair, to the unique place settings to the best man practising his speech behind the marquee. These are the moments that make the day and tell the story.
